Waste Bank Facility Constructed at RPTRA Berseri

Cengkareng Timur Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district, West Jakarta constructs Matahariku Waste Bank at RPTRA Berseri, Jalan Lingkar Luar Barat, RT 12/11.

Cengkareng Timur Urban Village's Economy and Development Section Head, Hipni, said the facility is built permanently along six meter, eight meter width and three meter height.

"This new building is to replace previous facility at Cengareng Timur Urban Village official house. Composting facility is also built there," Hipni said, Tuesday (12/24).

Hipni added that the waste bank facility will be used to collect various waste such as cardboard, mineral bottle, iron, paper, alumunium, plastic, and so on.

"Now the construction is almost completed. It can be operated in early January 2025," he added.

Nasir (52), Cengkareng Timur Urban Village PPSU personnel supports the facility construction to collect any waste from the waste bank activity.

"The facility should decline the waste amount dumped to final dump site. It also gives more income," he admitted.
